Hershey’s Mill Golf Course, a challenging PGA Championship 18 hole course, is open to all for an initiation fee and dues. Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Hershey’s Mills is conveniently located to many great eateries in the area but also features a resident-only gate exit directly into the Hershey’s Mill Shopping Center where there is a bank, a Starbucks, a grocery store, a dry cleaner, a drug store, hair & nail salons, a pizza shop, and many more amenities. 
 
In nearby downtown West Chester, you’ll find some great spots such as General Warren, a historic bed & breakfast with fine dining as well as San Nicola Restaurant and Fellini’s. For other fine dining spots, try Limoncello or Teca Restaurant which are both highly-rated or Four Dogs Tavern for more casual fare. 
 
Within 15 minutes of Hershey’s Mill, there are major malls, boutiques, and specialty shops. The famous King of Prussia Mall, known as Philly’s premier shopping destination, is only a short 20-minute drive.
 

Things to Do

This community ALWAYS has something going on! Residents will always have something to do. Clubs and activity groups are the main tenets of the community here. Participate in a book discussion group, perform with the Hershey’s Mill Players, join the Knitting Circle, or play some table tennis! Residents can join a variety of interest-based groups with like-minded individuals, making plenty of new friends; bond with fellow residents over billiards, play poker, work on some quilting, or build projects in the woodshop.
 
Hershey’s Mill has earned its reputation as one of the outstanding private Golf Clubs in Chester County but for a fraction of the cost of other private golf courses in the area. The club maintains what the USGA described in 2011 as “one of the best managed and maintained golf courses we see.”
 
Lots of residents enjoy taking the “Executive Trips” offered by Hershey’s Mills which include trips to the stunning Longwood Gardens, horse races at Delaware Park, and even New York City to take in a Broadway show. Sports lovers can enjoy trips to Philadelphia Phillies games or Penn State football games, and music lovers can attend a Philadelphia Orchestra concert.
 
For live theater, People's Light is within 15 minutes of the community and there are also some nearby movie theaters as well. Local festivals include Goshenville Village Days, The Goshen Fair, the West Chester Restaurant Festival, and the Iron Hill Bike Race and Festival. You’ll certainly never get bored here!
