With no shortage of enthusiasm and energy, as well as a knack for efficiency, organization, and communication, Kara is eager to show you that your first or next real estate transaction can be gratifying and even fun!
Kara graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Economics and worked for over 16 years as an economist in the Federal government. Her work with labor market statistics sharpened her expertise in trend analysis and data visualization, as well as her knack for simplifying and distilling information, all incredibly valuable skills she puts to work daily in the data-driven world of real estate.
Living in Philadelphia and working there for 16 years, Kara knows the city and its neighborhoods, particularly South Philly, very, very well. She currently lives in Passyunk Square, and would be as eager to provide a dinner recommendation as to show you a house! Kara also has practical experience with finding and analyzing investment properties, small- and large-scale renovations, and being a landlord in Philadelphia.
Kara’s greatest passions are homes, dogs, and finding homes for dogs. Kara and her rescue dog, Atlas, frequently foster dogs on their way to their forever homes,’ she is on the board of the Young Friends of PAWS and leads annual marketing and outreach campaigns for Philly Love PAWS and The Mutt Strut. She also chairs the Passyunk Square Civic Association’s Step of the Month program, recognizing beautiful home fronts in the neighborhood!
In her free time, Kara loves hiking in the woods, biking around Philly, paddleboarding at the beach, crafting home decor out of repurposed materials (ask about her log tables), and looking at real estate!
